Honestly, I don't understand racism. To some degree its a natural instinct to group off with those who look the most like us, but every race has good people and trash. Its easier to stereotype people on an individual basis, based on race, but its just ignorant to hate every person of a particular race. When you have friends from different races, when you hear someone make a blanket statement about people of a certain race, its hard not to think about the people you are friends with, that is that particular race.
The racial hate talk doesn't represent the thoughts of most people within a particular race so I think all of the racial tension is created by a small portion of each racial group and only appears to be a bigger issue than it is in reality.

How is the population breakdown in Washington State?????? I am sure Seattle is somewhat balanced. But what about the rest of the State and Oregon.... Give me some numbers...........I am sure that Idaho and Montana are like 90% white and the rest whatever..........

People of different races are getting along better than ever. In my little town, almost every office is racially diverse and people get along.
As you pointed out, a lot of the tension is from the government trying to force people to get along, or from those who manipulate or profit from racial division. These are, thankfully, a minority of people.

Diversity in America is increasing everyday, not because of laws and government policies, but because of new families.
While 95% of the married couples in my family are of the same race, at least 40% of my good friends are married/in relationships with someone outside of their ethnic group. In fact of the guys at my bachelor party, at least half married outside of their ethnic group. Our kids and their kids are the ones increasing diversity in America everyday.

60s and 70s weren't nearly as bad as they are now. We have taken such a huge leap backwards in race relations directly because of this administration. The result is the absolute exact opposite of the beliefs of the guy who blacks claim as their guiding light and savior (MLK)

Exactly what has this administration done to worsen race relations? Other than Obama's color, which ruffled the feathers of people who were already racist. Before Obama even took office many people were already upset, including many here on the fabulous OT.

I am not into movies that much and don't go GA-GA over movie stars and shite like YOU do....I saw her last week in the movie "The Family Guy".. Thought she was pretty and asked a few questions about her... I made that pic my avi.. It really seems to bother you for some reason..Not sure why... I think the pic is cool.
