There's the big question. If it was stashed anywhere near that building before, how did he know that no one would be on the roof of that building?

Photos of building make this an easy answer… he hid it in one of the cedar trees obscuring the space between the two buildings.
Probably chest high or a bit higher because people have a natural compulsion to look for objects hidden closer to the ground

BOOM!!! He did say that or at least it was reported that way. Maybe dad said "he borrowed my rifle to go to the range..." and media reported same day whereas it was a week earlier.

But you ask a hell of a question.

he must've hid it on the sloped roof. Kryptonite for SS agents.

This just keeps getting worse and worse for the SS. 150 yards with an AR-15?

I have been around those guys operationally back in the day (I was not a USSS employee) and we called them that to their face. There are two types of Agents, the ones who laughed and the ones who actually believe their own bullshite and would get boo boo lipped when we said it.

We would also say "stop believing your own hype" to the serious ones.

Probably just hid it under the ladder nobody saw.

Rangefinders are mainly used for two things.

Golf and hunting/shooting.

Correct. I'll bet more "hunting" rangefinders are sold than "golf" rangefinders. I've got a pair of rangefinder's I use hunting, but mine would probably be looked at more closely at a political rally since mine are camouflage. Calling the rangefinders "golf" rangefinders makes them sound more benign than calling them "hunting" rangefinders. I find it ironic how the USSS/media uses such a benign sounding description.

Did they find a divot tool on him? Some tees? Never brought a gun to a golf course but have a ladder to retrieve a club I threw in the trees.
