Has one on the back of my neck a few months ago. It grew to free size of a golf ball literally overnight. Had to go have it lanced.
Thank frick I couldn't see it.

All the home treatments I have heard of involve significant risk of being known as "that disgusting guy with the cyst."
Just go to the doctor. Don't mess around with a recurring cyst.

That's the thing. I had surgery to remove the "sack" and this bastard is back again.
I had surgery on the same Pilonidal cyst three times. Changed surgeons after the second time and he got it out, but it was a pain in the arse, literally.

I have a recurring one on my side that keeps coming back. I've had it lanced several times. They told me if it came back again, that I would need to get surgery. Well its back again....

I had one on my head removed three times before it finally went away. I saw the damn thing when they took it out, so I know they weren't just poking around and listening to Mikey Cyrus the whole time

My son did that three times. Last lance, I did it for him.

They keep coming back until the sack that keeps filling is removed. Go see a dermatologist.

Any at home treatments you know of besides going to the doctor to have it lanced?
I wasn’t paying attention because it’s not my gig.

I got rid of one using colloidal silver and heat compression.
If you try silver I would recommend a gel.

Had one previously that I tried to lance on my own. Ultimately ended up in the urgent care, but it came back a few months later.
I then went to an ENT and he referred me to the in-house plastic surgeon due to where it was located near my ear. It’s been 5 years and hasn’t come back. They did have to do general anesthesia and outpatient surgery.
I’ve not had any luck doing at the house and would suggest going to an ENT. You probably can’t do any serious damage trying at home other than making yourself look deforemed for a few days before having a professional take care of it.

Just had one remove between my shoulder blades a month ago. The sack tore after doing yard work and became inflamed. Had the 30 day follow up today and all is good. The GS he thought he got all the sack but it may come back. He said it was around the size of a walnut. His nurse video it with my phone. Looked like a lump of grits.

Man it's funny that you made this thread because I have one right now. I'm about to schedule an appointment with my dermatologist. I've had them removed out of the back of my neck before, but I'm kind of freaked out about them cutting the back of my ear (to be completely honest). I know they deaden it, but still.
