at some point you just have to assess the situation.

a guy in running the streets in a towel with a machete?

I’d not turn my dog loose on him with a machete. They don’t have tasers??

Hope the dog tore his balls off before it died. Also glad he is dead and I wish we still lived in a world where the officers got a medal for ending him.

A taser wouldn't have been effective whatsoever in this situation.

Certainly wouldn't have sent my dog in, either. This was a lethal force situation from the beginning.

The lessons from this are: (1) wear clothes; (2) don't steal stuff; and (3) don't stab a police dog.

No fricking way I let my dog go against a guy with a machete

That’s what I was thinking. Kind of irresponsible by the K9 handler. Rubber bullet to the dome ala Shawshank should have done the trick.

Pretty fricked up that the dog was sent to it’s death against a guy with a machete.

But considering this is Seattle and cops are hated, it was a safe choice for the cop. Justifies the shooting.
