Snowboarders are to be feared and avoided
-if you see a snowboarder, assume they are going to fall in the next 5-10 seconds. They fall all the fricking time. So be prepared to dodge them.
-Never ski on the backside of a snowboarder. Their downhill field of view sucks and they tend to cut randomly and wont see you on their backside.
-Try to avoid riding up a lift with snowboarders, particularly a 6 person lift, they are a clusterfrick getting off a lift with multiple people.
-snowboarders tend to wear earbuds with shitty music turned really loud which makes them even more oblivious to their surroundings
-keep your young children away from snowboarders. They cant complete a sentence without putting "frick" in it
Now that we got trash snowboarders out of the way...
-Never stop in the middle of a trail. If you need to stop then pull off way to the side.
-NEVER EVER stop in the middle of a steep section of a trail. Somebody coming over the top of the ridge may not have time to react.
-do not ski on trails above your ability level. Nothing worse than dipshits pizzaing their way down a groomed black just to say they skied a black
-do not take up a whole trail with your shitty carving
-try to avoid wearing your camo skiiing, you might as well wear a sign that says "im trash"
Have fun out there. Ski slopes are utopia for the OT. Almost no fat people, poor people or minorities.
ETA a few more thoughts
-dont enter the lift line until the rest of the people you plan on riding up with are with you. Dipshits blocking the lift line waiting on people really grinds me gears. Trash Europeans are often the culprits since lift lines are a free for all clusterfrick in Europe but plenty of guilty Americans as well.
-dont pay more attention to your gopro than where you are going, have almost got run into a few times by people holding their gopros trying to get that perfect footage of them going down that blue groomer
-try to keep cursing to a minimum with kids around, trashy AF to curse with little kids around
-dont use the singles line with 2 people and expect to ride up together
-the greatest sound in the world is the sound of a snowboarder hitting a mogul wrong and cracking their board in half

Poors, minorities, and great big giant fatties are usually not hitting the slopes.

Skied last week in my camo bibs and hunters orange skull cap. Pizza all the way.
There's nothing worse than the a-hole who skis once a year but acts like he's a f'ing know it all pro on the slopes. Everybody hates you.

Scruffy's one recommendation:
If you are going for the first time, take lessons.

Utah bound in 6 days. The butler is putting groceries in the condo on our arrival date. The concierge called yesterday and is sending an itinerary out to us for arrival tomorrow.
No snowboarders allowed.
Heaven.

Snowboarder here, I would run circles around your arse, so stay out of the way.

Just over 25% of the slopes are open though so far...
But still...no snowboarders or poors.

Don't pizza and French fry on the tough runs for the love of God.

I like how people think that pizza'ing and French fry'ing is how to ski on every run. It might work on a green bunny slop but good luck doing that shite on a black or even a blue.
