I like credit unions, but I need a bank that has actual branches Nationwide. That's why I use wells Fargo.

I can walk in and take care of things that can't be done over a phone, online,or at an ATM.

I hate chase. I spent 5k on a bottle of cognac while drunk in an airport in south east asia... that was fine.

I walked into a gas station in north baton rouge and bought a diet coke, they shut my card DOWN.

Guess which one I would have preferred being billed?

Like what? I've literally called USAA and had approval for an auto loan in minutes. They even sent the check to my hotel.

I've had my bank accounts frozen when I was on business in California. My credit union tried to say I had to come in to unfreeze it.

The day I got back, I removed app my funds from that bank. frick them.

well, sometimes companies pay me with a com.data check,it's actually just like cash,or a wire transfer, they give you a code, you can go into wells fargo give them the code, which they verify..then deposit the money directly into my account.

You can't just deposit those checks, there's a bit of a process that has to be done by a human.

It is a bit inconvenient, but it's a really quick way to collect money for a job.

Been with a credit union all my life. I literally have zero problems. I have two savings accounts with them, a checking account and I pay everyone of my bills through their app. I can also deposit up to like a ~5k check through the app. I travel all over south Louisiana a good bit and a couple beach trips every summer in Gulf Shores and I never have problems. I think the 1 or 2 times they cut my card off, it was some legit fraud shite.

I pay for supplies over the phone in way more states than this daily with credit cards or my business debit then turn right around and use them locally like normal and never have these issues.

Do you have shite credit perhaps?

If you know you will be away from your local bank, and will need cash while away, bring some with you? I know that's a crazy idea and not nearly as easy as bitching and moaning and putting the blame on a for-profit business making money off of their service instead of taking personal responsibility for your own poor planning.

I use Neighbors FCU, Whitney, and USAA; Whitney being my main bank. Travel all over the USA and honestly never have an issue with any of the 3.

And they had to shut down that whole branch the next day due to no funds to operate on. Way to put people out of work!

The first time I used an ATM owned by my bank and was charged a fee I was pissed. I actually knew the girl who worked as a customer service rep at the branch closes to me so I sent her an email telling her that as a customer it is insulting that in order for me to get my money out of their bank I have to pay a fee. I went on about how it would make more sense for me to start keeping a certain percentage of my money, that is in their bank, with me. Anyway, for awhile the ATMs my bank owned that were in my area stopped charging customers a fee.. for a few months. Then they eventually added it back on.

I don't want to tell all about how I handle my finances, but I prefer keeping and using cash when its an option.

It was unfortunately a credit card. I do not work for the state. I was not working for the state

It isn't meant to be impressive. I had under 400 bucks in my account at the time.

I thought we agreed not to be a dick to each other?
