Why can't they just figure out how to cure cancer and alzheimers so that we could guarantee more quality years on what we already have?
They spend all their time working on boner pills and hair transplants. Motherfrickers are all working on the wrong shite.

Think mine's somewhere between 120 and 125. I also have no idea how to change my own oil so we need to keep some good ol baws around
I'm not saying that we kill the idiots, just be selective on their reproduction and don't allow them to live for this long.

they know how it would lead to overpopulation, scarcity of resources, and global conflicts
It's always the increase population in population will cause a decrease resources and eventually hit some tipping point. But until that tipping point, it never accounts for the decrease in resources causing the population growth to slow, or any other changes in behavior. Self-correction and adaptation all of a sudden disappear from the logic.

What if we make it to where only people with an IQ above 120 are eligible for it?

So your kids get to wipe your arse for 30 years instead of just the last 10?

Sounds like some of the plot from Bioshock

My great uncle is over 101 years old and still lives by himself. He told me that if a man is still alive when he reaches 85. They should take him in the woods and shoo him. He said that all of his family and friends he grew up with are dead. Being old aint all it is cracked up to be.

Pretty impressive study. Uses common genes conserved through evolution, so these same genes are present in similar forms in humans. The effect of blocking this gene's expression results in reduced physical aging and extended life period
In a nutshell, we have these same genes, and turning them off causes these organisms to live longer and age at a slower rate. So at a 25% reduced rate, you could look and feel like you're 60 at age 80
Gonna be great for rich people. Imagine our Congressmen and Senators in office for 80 years.

Does it make you age slower??
If it just extends the decrepit years of your life the eff that
