I mean, hell yeah, I want this too.

But let's be realistic, its not getting better. If we can give fatasses a pill to reduce the strain on our health system, then lets give em the damn pill.

I wonder if all the body-positive SJW fatties who tell everyone that big women are beautiful and that we should not fat-shame would be munching on these pills.

People who say fat is beautiful should pay double on their health insurance premiums.

It won’t work. People will just take the pill and eat more than they already did.

ETA: lifestyle changes are the only way to keep weight off

Not sure if they work on "big bones", "thyroid conditions",or "genetics".

Good, I'll buy stock in deodorant and air conditioning. The fat people will be burning up and stankin'

People keep saying the ocean levels are rising due to the polar ice caps melting but has anyone considered that maybe it's actually just all the fat people in the US weighing the land down and sinking it like a boat?

These are the real questions I want scientists asked

I'm 5'10" and 27.
The calculators show my "ideal" body weight at 170 pounds.

That's ridiculous.
At 200 pounds I'm considered obese.

People with health problems save the government money because they die young and draw less social security. Smoking in particular is beneficial to the bottom line of the US treasury.

Unlikely. Fat people cost less over their lifetime on average (yes, even with the obesity related diseases), than people who live into their 80's, because they die much younger.

quote:

Their results tell us that that life expectancy from age 20 is reduced by 5 years for obese people and 7 for smokers. The consequence is that healthy people live to incur greater medical expenditure subsequently on average, more than compensating for the earlier excess expenditure related to obesity or smoking.

The best solution is just to kill old people.
