You saw where I said "I find", right.

Based on our society, our laws, the way my decisions effect those around me in positive/negative ways.

Answered prayers, feeling the Holy Spirit, and having an understanding how this world/people were created is all the proof I need. But there is plenty of more proof He is real

he doesn't even believe its proven

the things that he bases his entire conclusion on are just a theory

why not?

Because He (and I use that in the general sense) doesn't like you.

None of this is proof. This is faith.

Which really translates that, according to your own personal opinion, you're being moral. There's nothing objectively wrong with theft, rape, murder, etc. And, according to your definition, the Nazi's, plantation slaveholders and ISIS can be moral as based on their society and laws.

It's quite possible He feels the same about you, and that's why he doesn't reveal himself to you. Think about it, none of us really like hanging around asshloes.

Yeah, it's called discovery and curiosity. The pillars of our existence that separates us from other animals. This is what smart people do and want. It is what got us the wheel and to the Moon.

You seem to think this is actually a bad thing. Yes I won't know everything when I die, but we will continue to discover things and press the species further well after I'm dead. This is much better to me than simply accepting that there was a big flood with 5 million animals on a boat built by a man from the Stone Age without any proof. This stagnate mentality would take mankind back to the Dark Ages overnight and back to witch burnings. I have proof of this simply by looking at the Middle East.

Each of these is a great example of what dogmatic views can do. I'll take reason and knowledge over that bullshite any day.

Kaku never said God. The writer of the article mentioned God. Kaku said “I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence”

This keeps being harped on over and over. A simple search gives clear insight into his beliefs on the matter...

quote:

The mind of God we believe is cosmic music, the music of strings resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace. That is the mind of God."

quote:

“I work in something called String Theory which makes the statement that we are reading the mind of God. … We physicists are the only scientists who can say the word “God” and not blush,” Michio Kaku writes on his Big Think blog.

And here is is on video talking about his view of God...

Dr Kiki Interviews Michio Kaku on the Topic of God

Now he never tries to identify God (other than to describe God as "he") as many here seem to be hung up on. But he makes it pretty clear that he believes there is in fact a God.
