I recently listened to a Podcast of Joe Rogin with a guy named Rick Doblin. who is the the Director of MAPS. Google that podcast and MAPS and listen to it an you will learn a whole lot about the current use of Psychedelics for "medical purposes"
It is complete and utter bullshite that the MAN has blocked the use of natural substances for enlightenment and spiritual development by the human species.
frick LBJ and those like him etc..

Google "Phish summer tour". Pick a city of your liking from search of "Phish summer tour". Go there and mingle on Shakedown street and you'll find what you seek!
Or you could just discretely inquire on the Music Board.

when the volunteers took LSD, many additional brain areas -- not just the visual cortex -- contributed to visual processing
That's how you can see what's really going on. Man.

Most fun drug I've ever done hands down.

I generally don't see the best and brightest involved. Most people I see tend to drop acid at Talladega and wind up fighting the evil spirits in the back of a paddy wagon.

It's really fun to do in a group setting. Lots of laughs to be had.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat with the right group of people. It's been some time since my last trip, but they were always good.

have any of you guys tried kava? We stumbled into this kava bar a few months ago on vacation and the guy told us to have 1 cup and its enough to give you a good buzz, but Im 6'7 so I had 4. It gave me one of the best feelings ever and as someone who sleeps with a KPAP machine normally at home, I had the best nights sleep Id had in a long time without one. Its supposed to give you a deep sleep and it really delivers.

Set and setting. That is a nightmare set and setting. Yahoos everywhere getting drunk and rowdy and loud cars going in circles. Plus you are in Alabama. That would be the ultimate buzzkill.
