Yeah they call them “spent” cocoa leaves or something like that. Which is kind of funny when you think about nomenclature we use today when we say we’re “spent”

I’m sure now there’s an industrial lab corporation somewhere that’s de-cocoanizing the leaves now but seems like there’s an interesting story somewhere that we haven’t told yet about who they had to deal with and how they would get so many “spent” cocoa leaves for mass production when Coke started becoming the phenomenon it is.

I think you missed at a service station… the place where they sell gas and perform highway robbery for everything else.
