So we just let kids dictate what they will and won't do in class now?

What's gmail have to do with this ? I just said your argument about the 50+ crowd has jumped the tracks .. which it has .. Don't really understand what else you're talking about relative to the relevance on your rhetoric here ..

The funny thing is.. when a crazy woman starts launching at her husband, most people (especially men) think he is totally justified to hold her down and stop her.. but most people would not think it is okay for him to drag her across and room and then throw her body. Yet when a cop is doing it, someone who is supposed to have passed psych evals and been trained to do the least amount necessary to solve a problem, it is okay.

People watch these videos and they say, "Hell yeah, I'd have hit her too!" due to her behavior. But of course you'd take action against her. Of course I personally would do the same. Most of us would. But we aren't police officers. They aren't supposed to react to situations the way you and I do. Isn't that the whole reason they're allowed to walk around in that uniform doing what they do?

If cops can react to violent situations the exact way you and I react to violent situations, I don't want to be anywhere near a cop. That would be terrifying.

No. We suspend the student for doing it. We certainly don't call in some douchebag school officer to physically beat her arse for not putting her cellphone up.

Well I said earlier in this thread I wasn't going to take the side of the rude teen based on a crappy video. I knew the teen was the sole reason any altercation happened. She was the cause, right it wrong, for the physical altercation. Just like with Mike Brown and most other cases of police brutality or excessive force claims...they wouldn't happen if people simply complied.

I don't care how small you are go hit a cop and tell me what happens

I gave you the fricking video. I'll provide it again. If you think that counts as her hitting the officer "first" then you might legitimately be retarded. I'm of the opinion that she has the right to defend herself and that if she was carrying a weapon she could have used it, legally, in self defense.

I give ZERO fricks about the link that you gave me. I fricking LIVE here. I think I have a little more info about this than you do, dickwad. The video you are linking IS NOT THE COMPLETE frickING VIDEO.

You wanna argue this point? I will gladly provide you with the phone number of our sheriff, Leon Lott, and you can express your outrage to him. Oh...and you can also tell him that his statement to the press was a lie. I am certain he will be interested in your uninformed, ignorant opinion of this incident.

I hope you're prettier than you are smart. Because god damn you're one stupid count. Cop got fired for a reason, ma'am.

The quote you provided on the previous page by the sheriff only says she hit the officer, not that she initiated contact by punching the officer first.

He clearly initiated the first contact in every single video that has been shown. She had to reach up and punch backwards because he already had his hands on her.

Pay attention, asshat. I agreed that the officer went way too far in his actions. I have not once defended his actions. I did, however, provide the truth about what actually happened.

So sorry that you are too mired in your frick the cops mission to pay attention.

Why do you put cops on a pedestal? They are human. Just like any other profession they are going to have their share of bad apples...no screening process will ever prevent that.

You yourself told us how you feel about older people based on your life experiences. Now imagine being a cop and having to deal with the biggest pos of society and tell me it's possible to train or screen them to not snap in high stress situations...one cop might snap after 1000 of them while another may never snap. No one reacts the same.

The truth is that he was physical with her first. As evidenced by numerous videos. Those are facts.

I know people in south carolina don't really like facts, though.

Not replying to anyone. Just wanted to say how can we progress as a society and defend this girl? She is shite and exactly what is wrong with public schools. Public schools are shite and get shite reputations because of her and her trashy kind. Many will be paying high property taxes for schools they don't use plus pay expensive private school tuition.

If anyone is wondering why we don't care about her that is why. She is holding society back and costing us money. The cop is crap and he sucks but people are frustrated with trashy people screw in up out schools.

How else are you supposed to get someone to leave the premise if they won't follow a simple instruction of getting out of the classroom? Use please or something?

The girl had plenty of opportunity and warning prior. She was asked to go many, many times. She wanted them to physically remove her and she got her wish.

What is your beef with LL? Not that I really give a frick or anything. Just a mild bit of curiosity. It's not like I know any of you trashbags IRL. Are you besties with Brageous or something?

You're making my point. I am agreeing with you. While on the job, they're supposed to be pretty damned non-human by the entrance standards. They aren't supposed to react based on emotion like we do. You're right.. every profession has their bad apples. He was a bad apple. He did wrong. He was rightfully fired.

I 100% agree with you there. His actions are not representative of all cops. At least I hope like hell they aren't. But honestly, any pro-cop civilian and even other cops should be scornful of the way this man behaved. It is not what is taught and it is not what is expected in a person who wears the uniform.

I completely and totally understand how a human would snap in his shoes. I certainly would, which is why my arse could never even come close to being a cop I don't think he is necessarily a horrible human being for what he did (though it was still a dumb decision since she is 16). I DO think he is a horrible cop for doing what he did. He made a mistake as a human. He did something that should result in permanent loss of job as a cop.
