So you'd be okay with making every girl in the school cut their hair as well?

what a dumbass argument. dress codes are different for males and females

I side with the kid, fwiw. but I need pics of his hair first. there might be a health concern

Huge misconception that you don't wash dreadlocks. You definitely do.

no I didn't and not going to take the time to respond to the six posters above you because no one has really said anything other than something to the effect of "rules are meant for everyone else but me" or I want (fill in the blank) but I don't want to meet the standards or comply with rules/regs so they need to be changed!"

Wrong again. Sounds like you scared!
Ftr, your post was essentially, we had rules when I was a kid. As if that is relevant to the discussion.

It’s stupid to make him cut his hair. If it’s a public school that he’s required to attend, they shouldn’t be able to make him cut his hair. It would basically be a state-required haircut. That goes against my idea of freedom.

I can't sleep past 4am. How early does Sonic open? Do they serve breakfast tots?

You certainly don’t need pics to make a decision, but here you go anyway:

Looks terrible. He should cut it, but the school shouldn't require it for him to walk.

Then you're just as disappointing and trash as the school and administration
