Here is my story. So much of this is pure accident.

I never heard of TigahRag before Monday morning. I am not an OT regular as you can tell by the number of post over that last 10 years. Someone posted the identity of TigahRag for just a moment and I saw it. I followed up by reading TigahRag’s post history. If I never saw that post identifying TigahRag, I would have never put the two together (is this a double negative?). I wonder if in the afterlife TigahRag wanted me to see that post and to follow up on it! (exclamation point). It is odd I never knew TigahRag was TigahRag in his lifetime, but within moments of his leaving this Earth I learned this information. This is just eerie.
I grew up with TigahRag. TigahRag and I were the closest of friends for many years. Tigahrag was a pallbearer at my father’s funeral, I was a groomsman in his wedding. In 5th grade a classmate showed me a paragraph in the S encyclopedia that changed my life. When I got home, I showed that paragraph to TigahRag and it changed his life. TigahRag and I were together the first time we ever went to a strip club. TigahRag and I attended dozens of LSU football games, we played hundreds of innings of Whiffle ball, and we’d go get Krispy Kreme together after the bars closed. We were always playing front yard sports and sports board games. We were fiercely competitive when it came to smartassed comments, athletics, career, and girls-- he always won.
The point is, I knew who TigahRag was after reading his posts. I contacted a mutual friend and asked him to read the posts. He read the postings agreed with me – TigahRag’s identity was clear to both of us! It was my Unabomber moment.
I talked with his brothers. I need to emphasis this: none of TigahRag’s brothers posted on his account. Neither brother knew of TigahRag’s Tiger Droppings life.
Years ago, I asked TigahRag if he read Tiger Droppings, he said yes, but he said he would never tell me his handle. Now I know why. I never knew TigahRag was a Tiger Rant Superstar and it was sheer chance I found out.
When I started this post, I expected a few comments, like the one I posted in the Rant and I thought the topic would pass. I was not expecting this reaction. How could I? I did not know TigahRag was so well known! Wholly Cow! Even Chicken responded!!!!
Before this post, my only post of any note was the following were I only got one up vote and 193 down votes (I think this is a record for down vote percentage, but I still think I am right).

TigahRag was just like Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report, he played a character. The biographical information TigahRag provided well, maybe he did it to entertain his audience.
TigahRag was an organ donor. His last compassionate gift to this Earth. That is why the news is slow coming out.
I assure you the person behind Tigahrag and TigahRag (unless someone cracks his password) is gone. I will miss TigahRag. This is big loss for me. One of my closest childhood and college friends is gone. But I am glad for this post. This post would thrill him and make him very happy. Now go remember TigahRag –Bryan Scott Rushing-by following his example and becoming an Organ Donor or as he would probably call it an: “Orgeron donor”.
I wish all his Tiger Droppings family the best and yes, I always put the seat down!

If what you're saying is true then there are a lot of people on this board that are glad he's dead. Not me personally because I always like the poster but as you can tell he wasn't very well liked.

He just said no one will ever know if Rag passed away and it will always be a mystery. How does that equal disabled account? There are a number of things you can assume from that.

We'll know if/when he posts again.

From everything I know Bryan Rushing has passed away. It is more likely than not that Bryan Rushing was Tigahrag.
