Lots of "Coal burning," I believe what it's called

Sounds rapey. That’s gay.

It is better than Covington.
Dated an undergrad from Slidell when I was at LSU. Been out there a few times and old town Covington too with her (her parents were racist AF, they gave her a lot of crap. I was in grad school and they maybe had GEDs).
Covington is definitely Slidell-Lite if you know what I'm sayin'.

I once saw a homeless guy on the side of the road in Slidell wearing a t-shirt that said “Where the hell is Slidell”

Slidell has a place called Georges Doughnuts that has some of the best hot glazed doughnuts I have ever had in my life.
Better get to George’s before 7:30am or so. He sells out quick.

Honestly always had fun when I worked out of there. Those people sure like to party.
Downside is you gotta empty your truck and bring it in the hotel room at the end of every day

There used to be a nice B&B in Slidell. I would meet up with a former gf and we would get really freaky in there. Almost married that girl.
That's all I got.

Not to change the subject, but I will be passing through on my way to Venice next month and wanted to try Peck's Seafood. Is it any good or should I go somewhere else?
Pecks is really good. We are
Never disappointed there. Place is almost always packed, so I’m guessing that the other locals feel the same as my family does.

Thanks, we will be giving it a shot

I’ve been to Slidell many times while at the camp in Lacombe.
Great movie theatre on 61.
Great Beignet place in a shopping mall behind a famous restaurant. Don’t know the name of it, but it’s a hole in the wall and damn good.
Pecks is good...but La Provonce is my favorite.
Nice bike path
Great place for me to swim while in the area. Crossroads very friendly and their Masters Swim Team let’s me practice with them.
That’s all I got. Not bad...but seems safe.

I swim with Mia and them from time to
Time. We may have run across each other. I’ll be swimming with them at the Biloxi masters meet in 3 weeks.

It is better than NOLA East.

For the longest time it was the only place in the US where three interstates converged at a single interchange
This may be true, but sidebar... how in the hell is I-12 considered an interstate? This has always puzzled me. It starts in Louisiana, doesn't cross any other states, and terminates in Louisiana.
