Saw a Massive Timber Rattlesnake Yesterday

At Radnor Lake in Nashville. Biggest snake I've ever seen in the wild I'm pretty sure. Had to have been over 5 feet. As big around as my upper calf. I counted 20 rattles.

No but it was super docile, probably just ate. I wouldn't be surprised if I could've touched it without incident.

You must have a pretty good camera on your phone or happened to be carrying a real camera.

Great pics, thanks for posting. We only have western diamondbacks here, which I would also suggest not stepping on.
