years ago my kids had a bus driver who kept falling asleep driving. they never told me until after he got fired. he got fired for falling asleep while at the junior high. he hit the bus in front of him.

Sounds like she was run over, being that she was on the ground under the car when it happened and is in critical condition. It was a Navigator, too.

In middle school I had a hot social studies teacher. She was young and wasn't married yet. Years later I heard she got married. Then a few years later I heard she had a kid. Well a few years after that it turns out she accidentally ran the baby over in the driveway and killed it. How do you even go on?

Yes! So many events in people’s lives could have had better outcomes if they were more situationally aware in the moment. After working on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, I have always been mindful of safety and accident prevention.
