Sand in Pool Part 2

Have changed sand 3 times. Changed laterals. Changed Valve. Still have sand intrusion from flow pipe back into pool. 2 pool companies and another pool repairman are stumped.
Not a cracked pipe in ground ( I'm not losing water, no mushy spots anywhere, no wet spot in yard, plus when I changed sand I used different color sand and this proved the same was from the filter)
No one has any answers. I need a pool guru. Can anyone suggest someone or an idea? This is driving me crazy. Been dealing with this problem all friction year.

The wrong type of sand in the sand filled filter?

Might be that the interior manifold within your sand filter (where the laterals connect) is cracked. I've also seem the flexible tube (for releasing air) break at the connection to the manifold.

It's probably the laterals.

Actually, no.... although it sounds like it. I’ve checked my motor as compared to pump and no issue there. (1HP) I know if motor is too big it can cause sand to not settle and actually push it through the system, but that is not the problem here.

Nope. Forgot to mention that I replaced that also

7th fetzer valve, no doubt. Check the bypass line and that will tell you all you need to know.

Do you have a multi port valve like this?

If he hasnt replaced the spider gasket, its the only thing left.

Change the entire filter. That other one is possessed.

Yeah that’s where I was going with that. However, I recommend buying a whole new valve. That gasket is so finicky it’ll frustrate the crap out of you.

What kind of sand did you use OP?

Wait you have a pool and a beach at the same time, winner, winner chicken parm dinner.
