San Antonio seems to be a nice city - if Austin spillover doesn't ruin it

One of my sons works in downtown San Antonio. It had been a long time since I've been there. Downtown is really nice and seems safe all over. A few bums, but I see more bums in downtown Shreveport.

They seem to have excellent zoning control - residential areas are well protected and retail seems to be appropriately clustered. They have a lot of tech start up. Hopefully, the California Austinites will stay north.

Highway 130 is awesome - toll road runs from Waco to San Antonio - 85 mph and mild traffic.

Nope.

San Anton is under invasion by Austin loons from the North and Hispanics from the South.

On of my favorite places. Clean and I've never felt unsafe there.

To be fair, the Hispanics have always been there.

As a former Waco native I was unaware that Georgetown is now considered Waco.

The problem is his son probably has an education of some sort. About 80% of the jobs in Louisiana are plant and petro related and barely require a GED.

I don’t get how the Mexico thing is insult - service workers and such in Texas are 100% more pleasant to deal with than the Louisiana natives. A lot less violent too.

Love San Antonio. The North loop is loaded with new developments and golf courses.

Hispanics are fairly recent interlopers into the land of the Coahuiltecans, Comanche, and Apache.

San Antonio/Austin will be a giant metroplex in 10 years.
