One was fired, so yeah...he violated policy.
He was fired because that racist bitch mayor handpicked a chickenshit puppet as her chief of police. Not bc he violated policy.

I don't have any idea how you manage to do that job everyday. I commend you I couldn't do it. I asked the questions because those of us who don't wear the uniform don't know the procedures and the ins and outs of it.

If so, he'll have his job back quickly.
But he will not, because he violated policy and fricked up. In fact, I'll be surprised if he's not part of a civil suit.

He’s gaslighting you man, he doesn’t buy this shite either...call it violation of policy, whatever you want to call it. Fact is, Salamoni could never work at BRPD again anyway...couldn’t happen...just like the cop who killed Michael Brown. Career as LEO is over. BRPD did the best thing for Salamoni...HE WILL GET PAID, trust me...don’t let dude troll u

What written policy did he violate? You keep saying it, and you've been against those 2 officers ever since the day that fat piece of shite died. So tell me Mr smart guy. What written policy?

I appreciate it sir, but I DON’T do the job anymore...I couldn’t hack...It’s a lose/lose job. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. But I have a lot of friends who still do the job and I feel sorry for them. I respect them in the utmost cause I know what they go through

Probably escalating the situation instead of diffusing it, if I were to guess.

Wrong.

The one he was fired for.

BR residents will pay the Sterling family what 1-5 million and Salamoni 100-500k?
Posted on 3/31/18 at 9:19 am to bayourougebengal
He violated the department's use of force policy which was backed up by the AG's hired use of of force expert. I guess that guy was a hand picked puppet too, huh?

I can fit anyone into a fireable offense....conduct unbecoming...there you happy? Is it the right thing to do?
It was mandated by the Queen...or else! So the puppet did as the queen wished

McLindon has a hell of a case on his hands to win for Salamoni.

So how many officers will be fired today for speeding when not going to a call. If we are firing over policy violations, be consistent across the board. Don't pick and choose.

There were two distinct protocols violated by Salamoni identified by the experts in the AG investigation. The first was drawing his weapon at arms length from Sterling which increased the risk of harm to Lake. The second was tackling Sterling to the ground when both officers were drawn at a safe distance from Sterling and his hands were visible. At that point, Salamoni changed the situation from one that was tense but within the control of the officers to a chaotic one.
After watching the video in its entirety, I don't disagree with the firing of Salamoni. He made two errors - one crucial - that greatly escalated the situation.

Are you seriously arguing that there aren't different degrees of policy violations?
I guess the kid who talks out of turn in class should be expelled along with kid dealing drugs on campus.

Don’t be dense. Speeding and escalating an incident that results in a murder are not in the same universe of policy infractions.
