So in your mind you believe that if Blaine wouldn't have showed up, Howie would have been able to get Alton to hand over his gun and peacefully be placed under arrest?

I wholeheartedly believe if another officer showed up who had the same demeanor as Lake that Sterling would still be alive today

Sounds like you're ready to escalate any situation that comes your way. But that's different, right?

That's what I thought it was CD's. I was just wondering. I did not follow the case all that much.

That is the hard part to understand.
From the video vantage, it appears something else may have been happening or about to happen.

Either way...it escalated quicker than the situation appeared to warrant.

Do we know why it appears this way?

Meh I could be wrong, but I think huge guy with a gun on him (esp if they were aware of his violent record), aggressive show of force is a viable option. I'd imagine halting his movement and disarming him is the immediate concern and nice talk is unlikely to do that in many cases.

In all seriousness, his track record shows his chances of dying young were very high.

I’m asking you specially why you think he didn’t escalate the situation with the way he acted.

Because when a cop has his hand on a weapon, everytime I've been around that situation I shut the frick up. That's why.

In my college days, I had multiple run ins with dickhead friends that were dickheads to cops. When the cops showed up you may talk to them some, but when they get serious I shut the frick up and just listened.

That's why I know.

The situation was escalated when Sterling didn't give a frick there was a gun at his head.

Looking forward to Wbrz coverage at 10 when they send Nakamoto into Ruffinos to ask patrons how they feel about situation...

And sending Token Earl into Big Willy's hamburgers on Winbourne to ask their patrons about it.

You are clearly colluding with Tino and I have no idea what your motivation is other than maybe you are both police officers? You live in Prairieville, him Denham Springs. Hard to tell. Maybe I’m giving you both too much credit and you’re just two racist rednecks sitting in a bar trolling the OT.

You think the cops showed up to the store knowing it was AS, who had a prior record?

Sterling was contained? What does that even mean?

He was in possession of a fricking gun and was not obeying clear commands. He was absolutely not contained, detained, compliant, or any other made up BS adjective you wanna use to mitigate his behavior.

Do you realize how fast someone can pull a gun and shoot you?

Salamoni came to the scene to do 1 thing. Get the firearm. After that, you deal with everything else. Sterling was not allowing him to retrieve the firearm.

You don’t allow a POS like that to keep a firearm during the encounter. You do that, and you’ll be the dead one soon enough.

The situation didn’t start when BS arrived.

It started when a man selling CD’s in front of a store pulled a gun on someone.

Go out pulling guns and folks and you might get shot......unfortunately for Alton that is what happened.

More times than not your choices have consequences.

I’ll agree that BS came in hot but Alton caused this himself by his choices.

He was bound to die early at some point due to his life choices

What kind of low life points their weapon at a homeless person

Since you wont answer my question, i'll ask you this; what do you think the officer did wrong?
