Sacramento Cops assault and attack a man for allegedly jaywalking

Can't get the true story from just this short clip, but if true.... NBC link
Hopefully the cop has a legit reason for this. Waiting to hear "both sides."
Hopefully people get as mad for this as they do for the United airline passenger.

The Sacramento Police Department on Tuesday announced a formal investigation into the actions of one of their officers who was seen slamming a black man to the ground and beating him — all sparked by an alleged case of jaywalking.
The video, released Monday, has sparked national outrage. It shows the officer confronting the man, identified as Nandi Cain Jr., as he crossed an intersection and attempting to talk to Cain but the situation quickly escalates.
After some words are exchanged while Cain is standing in the street, the officer then violently throws Cain to the ground and begins to punch him in the head.
The events leading up to the incident were not captured by the camera, and it is not possible to hear the conversation between Cain and the officer before the incident occurred..
Hopefully people get as mad for this as they do for the United airline passenger.

Yep, that's exactly what people said to slaves in 1805 when they were running away from their masters.
I swear, the obsession with law and order, especially for laws and orders that dumb, immoral and worthless, is a borderline psychopathic and I wonder where he culture lost itself along the way. Trash gonna trash. Protect and Servin turns to Beat and Harasssing yet again. That officer doesn't deserve the tax dollars that that gentleman gives to him to feed his family. I'd politely ask for a refund back.

What's un-American is the people who cross a street without using the designated crosswalk. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate your moral and ethical positions.
