It was in the last turn of the last lap and he was leading.. wild. Hope he’s ok. As others have said, the second impact from the other car is what has me worried. Checked a few mins ago and no update on his status yet. The longer it goes without an update the more worried I am :-/
ETA: There were like 4 wrecks/cautions in the last few laps. It was an absolute clusterfrick of a finish

I don't know about that but someone on the Twitter Machine said there are reports he was awake when he got loaded in the ambulance

There was a big pileup with 16 laps to go. Jimmie Johnson's car couldn't return to the race. At the time I thought it was a bad way for him to finish his last race.
Maybe it was actually lucky for him.
Really hope the outcome is better than it looks for Ryan Newman.

They were just racing. Newman went down for the block and they tapped. Nothing intentional. Just good hard racing from two drivers trying to win. It's what they do. It's a dangerous sport.
