Ruston fireworks stand shut down for illegal sales

A Ruston fireworks stand will not be open for the remainder of the season after illegal fireworks were sold at the location.
Deputies with the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal issued a cease-and-desist order to the licensed stand on Saturday.
Frith’s Fireworks on the South Service Road was found to be in violation of two state laws according to a statement from the Fire Marshal's Office. This led to the location being shut down for the remainder of the Fourth of July fireworks season ending July 5.
Deputies found three different types of prohibited fireworks being sold from a camper next door to the sale tent.
A dozen packages of product with prohibited sizes, packaging and unauthorized grades were seized.

My cousin used to get silver kings when we were kids. Those things could take out a mailbox.
