it's a trade off. Short drive to get something to eat. But you leave all the white trash and culchuh behind when you're done eating and head back west on I-20.

I hope you're saying this is a good thing.

I'm pretty familiar with that area but my wife had never been to Ruston. We went and toured Tech with my HS son a couple weeks ago. She wanted him to go to LSU, but after visiting, she changed her mind.

BR is a shithole with outside of LSU; Ruston is a nice quiet town with La. Tech. The choice seems pretty obvious to me.

In Louisiana/Mississippi, I can think if better places.

St. Francisville, False River/New Roads, Ocean Springs, Toledo Bend, Grand Isle, Biloxi, etc. would all be better spots IMO.

Maybe I just don't understand Ruston that much.
