No, it’s not. Wanting to frick is the biological urge, wanting to have children is a much deeper thing than your biology making you want to bang a good looking woman.
ahh, so you agree with democrats it’s not natural for little girls to want to play with baby dolls and such as children as a motherly natural trait. Got it

I never understood why this was such a big deal
The declining birth rate of western culture people is honestly one of “the biggest deals” there is going right now if you look at actual society on a macro level

We are now not many generations away from an absolute cluster frick because of it. Musk puts it as problem #1 and nothing else is close for him

Agreed

quote:

Under new guidelines from the health ministry for reproductive health checks, doctors will ask women how many children they want to have.

If the woman answers zero, “it is recommended to send the patient to a consultation with a medical psychologist with the goal of forming a positive attitude towards having children.”

Once again it should be treated the same way as trans

Instead of saying “I’m so proud of you live your truth “ , it should be “let’s talk about this and why you feel that way” as an aim to “fix it”, instead of Ignoring it or hell even praising it

I don’t think the standard response to healthy people that swear off kids should be “you do what you want and live your life”, I think it should be met more with the approach of it’s an issue and let’s try and solve it

Obviously trans is a further end of the spectrum before people keep harping on that, but the way it’s dealt with is the same core failure here that I am comparing

like China's condom tax?

Starting January 1, 2026, China implemented a 13% Value-Added Tax (VAT) on contraceptives, including condoms, ending a 30-year tax exemption. This policy aims to boost declining birth rates by discouraging contraception use and incentivizing childbirth.

THis is strange because China would actually benefit from fewer mouths to feed.

China's birth rate has dropped to a record low of 5.63 per 1,000 people in 2025, marking the fourth consecutive year of population decline. The fertility rate is now around 1.0 per woman, far below the 2.1 replacement level.

Wait...you are comparing an individual that says they dont want kids to a transexual and the medical profession should treat them like they have a mental disorder to fix?

Im support a national movement and government/societal incentives that are pro family but folks should not be made to feel they have a problem needing to be "fixed" for not wanting to persue motherhood/fatherhood.

I disagree. I don’t think they should be shunned or ostracized etc , but I think it’s something that should be viewed as abnormal or out of place and stemming from something wired wrong

i see your edit but I dont think not wanting kids or having that feeling as a young person is any where on the spectrum as a mental illness.... like being transexual or even needs to "dealt" with in any way other than saying thats your personal decision.

It has a MASSIVE impact on society though. We are seeing that pain now in western countries and we are barely at the tip of the iceberg

the greatest biological urge of procreation

A young man's urge is not procreation.

It's to spray the guts of any willing female nearby.

Procreation is (or used to be) the natural consequence.

I don’t agree , especially from a woman’s side

Little girls want to play with baby dolls. That has nothing to do with sex. It also felt extremely natural for me to always want to have a son and teach how to hunt, fish, etc.

I think both men and women ajbr extreme biological tendencies to rear children which aren’t attached to sex

The fact that you’re somehow trying trans people and women not wanting to have kids together in an argument is fricking wild.

They both run up against basic human biology and function.

It's like having a car you don't drive, you just use it for extra storage space. Sure, you CAN do it, but that's really not the function of a car.

Sex divorced so totally from procreation is ruining many a country.

Referring a woman to a psychologist to explore her reticence for having children isn't forcing her to get pregnant. It's addressing the fact there very well could be root causes that could potentially be solved.

Yes, I do realize it also likely serves to stamp a "crazy" or "abnormal" label on the reluctant woman as a means of social pressure.

Taxing condoms isn't forcing women to get pregnant.

Favoring women with more children (is that Hungary? Poland?) is a great incentive.

Im quite aware of the demographic bombs about to go off in many countries around the world. . The US isnt in near as bad a shape as some but we do need to get into gear and start making babies. We dont disagree there. The way we move the conversation forward, well we just disagree on this particular point.
