Lol. So does the government you worship for the better part of 80 years.

Because of I don’t know how many years they have not paid their agreed upon share but instead asked the US too. How many wars has NATO and the UN gotten us into and we have ultimately footed the bill with both blood and coin?
Ending outdated preferential trade agreements and forcing countries to pay their agreed upon mandatory spending percentage of gdp to defense is considered "breaking up NATO" to these lunatics. They look at anyone disrupting the corrupt status quo as the bad guy. That's how indoctrinated these people are.

Do you remember this little thing called the Arab Spring where we overthrew/attempted to overthrow the governments of almost ever major government of the ME and N Africa all at the same time?
It's so fricking bizarre to watch the left now become the most hawkish group of the last 50 years

Decatur and the beer guy probably wax poetic about civil rights and voting rights at their hipster cocktail parties while simultaneously justifying the carpet bombing of people around the world to protect "American credibility". These people are psychopaths.

Yanukovych literally defeated Yulia Tymoshenko in the Presidential election of 2010 in both the first and second round of ballots. He won by more than 1 million votes.

Unfortunately, Russian propaganda is common on this particular sub-forum.

The hilarious thing is that these people want to go on excursions all over the globe yet they couldn't even get out of Afghanistan competently.

Except that the dude I quoted is actually spouting Russian propaganda.

When you find yourself taking Putin’s side over the West, it may be time to reevaluate your loyalties. To just brush off Putin’s shenanigans around the globe, the terror and censorship he places on his own people, his stated goals of retaking, by force, the Eastern Bloc in order to bring the USSR back into being, well, to ignore all that is anathema to me. You’re supporting the violent overthrow of free sovereign states by America’s worst enemy.
SCL probably thinks Tiananmen Square was a CIA psy op to overthrow another “democratically elected” regime. I bet you he won’t answer this question straight up: have the numerous elections that Putin won been fair and free democratic elections ? No whataboutisms please.

No. But here's another neocon to the flame. I bet you think they hate us for our freedom right? You were all in on David Frum's Axos of Evil.

I answered you, now tell me why Putin being an autocrat has anything to do with whether or not the United States should involve itself in the Ukrainian crisis? It doesn't. More emotional handwringing to try and justify further escalating a conflict we have no business in.

Who is “they?” Putins Russia? The guy who called the dissolution of the USSR the biggest geopolitical tragedy of the 20th century ? No I think he hates us because we’re an obstacle to his Eastern Bloc imperialism.
We absolutely should not go to war over Ukraine. But I don’t have a problem with us sending in some material support to people protecting their sovereignty or dropping severe economic sanctions on a dictator. Better than boots on the ground. All out military conflict is the worst possible thing and I wouldn’t support that nato or not.

In your opinion, at what point should the US step in, via proxy, to assist other Western nations via training, weapons, supplies?

I honestly don't doubt your sincerity to help them. I don't trust the people in Washington to do this effectively (if it even can be done effectively) or to simply stop at providing material support. I look at Syria as an example. The alternative to Assad is worse than Assad. The right-wing bloc in Ukraine look exactly like the kind of people Tboy and Decatur fearmonger over.

When we aren't $30 trillion in debt.

What is the MIC’s goal with this one? To up their budget to $1 trillion next year? Or to just try and kickstart the flagging economy with another imperialist Nation Building exercise?
