for you it is. some of us actually understand this stuff and have work with it. but by all means take your leave from this thread and go read a science book or better yet

It's debatable.
Link on who is debating it? I just googled that as well. No one is debating water on Mars but you. Really, no one. There are clear streams and ocean beds on the surface. Did God just put them there to throw us off like dinosaur bones?
Someone really needs to kick you hard enough in the balls so you don't breed.

If you think probability at the level we're discussing is "objective", so be it.

I don't want to inpregnate your girlfriend. That would be the only reason for a vasectomy. You are truly an imbecile. You have no reading comprehension.

We're clearly debating at a retard level if you think that Venus is definitive proof that liquid water can't exist outside of Earth and that the whole fricking world doesn't know that Mars didn't/doesn't have liquid water on it.

I was, once again, discussing the probability of evolution occurring given the odds of it. Not water on Venus or Mars.

Wait, really? You're going to go after my reading comprehension after you pridefully skipped all my points on liquid water in the solar system simply because I was hoping you were doubting the quantity in it by showing you Saturn? Really? You are totally oblivious.
And nice one, haven't heard the "frick your girlfriend/mom" a thousand times on this forum. A true sign of a mental midget.

OK, lets discuss that. Why does Venus blowing up and Mars drying up prove that with evolution? As I said, Mars is naturally producing methane, which is a point in my court.
As for Venus, we don't really have a clue what prehistoric Venus was like. It could have had flowing oceans and abundant life for all we know. The planet just erupted without end and created the Venus we know today. We probably never will unless we can terriform and mine the planet from there.
So you lose again. Like the Big Bang, this has really nothing to do with evolution, and you come off as the retard yet again. I'll give you your baseball though, don't worry.

Completely missing from this lively discussion is the fact that God and science aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. You can acknowledge the fact that the overwhelming scientific evidence points toward man evolving from ape and still believe in God. You just can't believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible, but any grown arse man who thinks the Earth is 6000 years old or that there was once a gigantic ark with two of every animal on it is so blinded by faith they probably cannot be reasoned with. They don't have to provide proof because religion is not about proof. It's about blindly following. Science, on the other hand, has to provide proof, and you are playing on an uneven field.
There are many in the scientific community who believe that God exists and that evolution was His rather beautiful tool of creation. No matter how far you go back in time one can always ask, "Where did that come from?" The answer could still be a Creator.
But to Hell with being reasonable.

Humans are the reason why we have domesticated dogs.
So there's no reason why evolution can't allow monkeys and humans to branch off from the same tree.

Creationists play word games and make arbitrary distinctions between words like "infinite" and "eternal" so as to set up a scenario where they don't have to provide an explanation for God's existence.

This is true, but neither side has an answer for that which essentially came from nothing. Science says nothingness exploded to create everything in the universe, and religion says there is an eternal intelligent designer.

Oh I fully believe evolution occurs on a micro scale. We and many other species are ever-evolving and adapting. My question was more geared toward a macro-evolution because I don't believe we were all formed from one tiny speck of matter or a specific incident. I also don't believe that a frog, for instance, hopped out of a pond one day and decided to grow legs and become a cow. Lastly, evolution and Christianity are not in any way related. One can believe one or the other...or both...as I do.
And yes, I have 2 beautiful kids so y'all can kiss my arse!

That's nice, Clark.
What do you mean, am I serious? My example was obviously over the top but I choose to believe we didn't all evolve from an ape. That's the beauty of being human in that we have the ability to decide for ourselves what we wish to believe and what we don't...ain't it beautiful?
