I must be crazy then. I’m not familiar with any cases where somebody has been charged and found guilty of sexual battery under similar circumstances. But criminal law is not my area of practice.
Maybe due to the publicity of this matter charges will be brought. I sure hope she is able to recover from this traumatizing event.

In Georgia it would be O.C.G.A. 16-6-22.1 (2010) Sexual Battery. The DA only has to prove it was intentional and it was her butt that was touched. There is no requirement to prove his intent was sexual. Easy plea out to whatever GA's version of unwanted touching is.

This is what I have been saying. Her response was an overreaction. And I know in today's world its all about content and not really doing it "right", but I would think that if you report on this story, both sides of the story should be told.
Give the guy the opportunity to say he did it in the spur of the moment and didn't have any intent to violate her.. Or.. At least being able to tell his story, whatever it might have been.
