Just because it's awesome, and you haven't seen any rugby in a while.

Some of these guys are running straight up when they get crushed.

It’s like what did you expect to happen?

I have liked rugby for a very long time. Wish it was more prevalent when i was growing up.

I really miss playing. Played HS, college, and sniffed D1 after college. Maybe I'll join an old boys league when my youngest is a little older

I still don't fully understand the rules of Rugby, but some of these dudes would absolutely kill it playing football in the US.

In fact, it would probably seem like a cake walk to some of them having all those pads and a break after every play

There’s been a few rugby guys that have switched to football. One of the best offensive lineman in the NFL on the Eagles is one. The ones that have tried running back haven’t even made the 53 man roster.

In football when you have the ball you are rarely concerned about what is behind you, in rugby you have to have a constant awareness of where everyone is behind you since it is likely you will be getting rid of the ball. A typical football head down style when you are expecting contact prevents the field awareness that is critical to rugby.

Now that we got NCAA football back EA needs to bring back a rugby game. I barely understood the rules but it was fun as hell.

The one for the PS2 back in 2001? Yea that game caused me and my best friend to almost have a fistfight. I did throw my controller and a small ice chest at him after he cheated a 3rd time by making a long arse skip pass from fly-half to the wing that wasn't even visible on the screen when the pass was made. Glitch usin cheatin' MFer.

In a football game that's the equivalent of blindly throwing a hail mary to streaking receiver that neither your nor your opponent can see on screen.

We laughed about that incident a couple weeks ago at a crawfish boil

Its easy to assume the best ball carriers in rugby would make an NFL roster as a RB but it's really hard to beat all the college running backs trying to take those same roster spots.
