I had them off and on for several years (from age 24-32) and thought I had something way wrong with my arse. I started getting them every month.
Bought a house in December and have not had one since.
Turns out the new house has a tall elongated toilet and my arse is forever thankful.
ETA If you are reading this and tried everything to prevent them with no luck, consider buying a taller toilet. Thought never crossed my mind and it took me a couple months after moving to realize that was the difference. I don’t even take Metamucil anymore.

Doctor prescribed this for my IBS and it made my bowel movement easier and lessened my IBS symptoms. Metamucil might cause some blasting due to high fiber content, but it's worth the risk.

I had them a handful of years when I was 21-24. Had to get them cut out a few times... Lucky haven't had any issues in 3 years.
Was strange that I would get them because I only shite once or twice a week if i'm lucky - so it's not like I spent a lot of time on the shitter.

I've mentioned it to every doctor I've ever had. They just say to eat more fiber, which I've always ate a lot of vegetables.
I used to take vyvanse last year and that would help me be more regular. I'll do adderall every now and then and that will get things flowing.
If not - maybe once a week and it's nothing to rave about

Oh so you are a speed guy
10 years ago i took vyvanse for few years. This stuff wrecked my body. I'm not a doctor, but my advice is to get off of these speed drugs.
