Here come all the liberals from their mom’s basement to ridicule an American for caring about The United States of America.

It’s pretty clear the lady isn’t white. So, yes. It was racist.
Roseann may not be racist. But she made a racist tweet.

Jezzz...so much for impartial news reporting.

Also, I thought comedians always got a free pass for controversial jokes.

Always? You don't have to dig far to find comedians that have been the center of controversy or have outright destroyed their careers.

Lots of people in this thread were surprised to see that she was black.
I'm not saying Rosanne didn't know, just curious if it's still racist if there was no racist intent.

Ok, not "always", but I've seen plenty of instances where a comedian says something "offensive" to southerners or conservatives and when people here complain about it the general comment from the left is that it's just a comedian making a joke, get a grip.

She doesn't look black either.
More like a Seinfeld-esque racially ambiguous person.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

No she isn't. She was born in Iran to African American parents.
Where’s African America? I can’t find it on the map?
But when Mexican parents have a baby in America they say it is American. At least where benefits are concerned.
And the Europrogs try to tell me when all these muzzies have babies in Europe they are European.
Funny how it’s only supposed to work one way

Why can't we just talk about what a POS Valerie Jarrett is and not compare her to an ape?

She's not black, she's Iranian.
That doesn't even matter. She referenced a human with an ape so that is automatically racist and the worst possible thing anyone can actually say. I think that's how it works anyway...

What if Roseanne said the character looked like Valerie. That would be UP comparing right?
