I do not think it is our place to get him fired. I am fine with him fighting fires. He is an adrenaline nut obviously. I sure as hell do not want him working within 5 miles of me.
What he did doesn't affect me. I am retired from that sort of Mardi Gras experience anyway. Hell we all make mistakes, but he should have known someone was going to capture that shitshow.

His social post history leads me to believe he does not see he's making a mistake, or care that he's doing it. He is "likes to fight/keeps it real" guy...those people deserve every single negative consequence that comes their way, be it an arrest, getting fired, or getting their face rearranged by someone tougher than them (or a hefty object thrown from a float).

I will add to the sentiment. I don’t want him to lose his job. I just want him to become a regular poster here.
He seems like the type of baw that will run in and rescue you and your family from a burning building but will then “knock the knowledge out your noggin” (or stab you in the chest) when you genuinely inquire if his eye brows got singed while rescuing you.
