Yep, apparently Romanian operating rooms have buckets of water to extinguish patient fires.

That is one, and how about how nasty was she that it required enough disenfectant to burn her up.
I once had a Romanian Chief eng and Electrician on a vessel and after knowing them nothing about this is really a surprise.

They didn't let the prep dry before cutting with the cautery knife. An amount of sterile water on the sterile field is standard.

The stat in the US is 1 in 1000 operations have a fire.
We have women bitch when we make them take off their make up, but when we explain the amount of oil that is in makeup and we will be using an electric cautery, they can't run to the bathroom fast enough to wash it off after spitting out that statistic.
