I was at the June 1, 1975 concert at the Assembly Center. Great time. I saw them a few times after that, but nothing compares.

If you were there (like me)..you know what his means! Star Star...

Along with all anticipated excitement surrounding the concerts, something ‘unexpected’ popped out of the floor of the stage, which turned out to be banned from future concerts during that tour.....

there's a pic of that dick in the 1976 Gumbo, the Stones opened up two US tours at the Assembly center in the 70s

The dude stands next to Joe, plays all of Joe's guitar parts along with him. Joe's volume is turned down. Then they let Joe jam out on some songs they are confident he can play.
Pretty much same thing Dead & Co were doing with Weir. Volume way down and limit his exposure......although he absolutely deserved to be up there and it's his show.

Adding a guitarist to the lineup isn't lame at all.

Adding a guitarist so that Keith Richards or Joe Walsh can stand there pretending to play while their amp is turned down is lame. Maybe you pay top dollar for covet bands but I don’t.

Yes, I saw him about a year ago opening up for the Eagles before their Sphere run started. Great show.

He did cancel some later gigs for health reasons, so it comes for them all eventually.
