Listening to that 25 min recording....at 17 min roughly, sounds like he got the barrel roll.

I heard a fighter jet buzz my window here at Chambers Bay. Thought the Russians were attacking.

I wonder if it would be possible to take over the Controls remotely and land it from the ground. Fed Ex planes supposedly have the capability to take off and land on autopilot and only have crews because of FAA regulations.
No.
Not at all.

They just showed some video on CNN that showed him rolling over Puget Sound near Chambers Bay.

Is the island the one right across from Steilacoom? I could step outside and maybe see it if I had the desire too.

Pretty close to shore. Much closer than Andersen Island is.

The three ones I see if I step outside are McNeil, Anderson and Fox. I maybe haven't seen this one.

Holy shite.

Just saw that too. Looked to be really close to crashing into the water at the bottom of that roll.

He definitely did. Looked like some shite out of an airshow.

If you could see the island, you'd probably be able to see the glow from the fire.
Based on what you said, I'm guessing Steilacoom is blocking your view south towards Ketron. You must be out near Chambers Bay?
Posted on 8/11/18 at 1:14 am to BrerTiger
Yeah I'm literally on Chambers Bay. I can walk outside and be at the park in a minute. And you are right. Steilacoom is blocking my view of the island.

Nice. OT Baller.

Hell of a maneuver, actually airshow worthy. Lol at the news folks first reporting his lack of flying skills caused the crash. He made them look like fools on his first flight.
This poor dude will be a folk hero for a long long time to come. I don't condone suicide, but this was sensational for the public, and especially aviation community. I feel horrible for his family though.
