Reading some tweets by a guy living in Brazil. He said assume everyone you encounter will shoot you dead. If you have road rage or anything like that you will be killed.

While I lament the loss of human life, a gun should never be used as a prop.
It automatically escalates the perceived danger and, sadly, justifies what the other person did to some extent.

Brazilians in general have little respect for the lives of criminals. Criminals will kill very quickly so it's accepted that they should get the same treatment. A more realistic and practical approach really and the dead criminal doesn't become a major news story.
