It’s not you tires, it’s the Johnson Rod.

I think a Toyota dealership will do it. My Toyota used to do that.

Yes, dealership should be able to handle it. Well known issue with the factory tires and TRD wheels. I know your tires have been changed, but they would be the most familiar. They have to warranty quite a few. Fortunately, 16K miles and no issues yet.

All Ive read says they are "hub" centric, which is good.

No ring spacers, better fit on the hub.

Fixed my f250 right up.

Tires were way out of balance from the guy bought it from.

I did replace the steering damper with a billstein.

Discount Tire balance machine. Says Road Force balance on the monitor. I am filing a tire warranty claim and they required road force balance proof.

Are these BF Goodrich K02 tires? If so, this is a pretty common problem with those tires. They can be hard to balance right out of the factory or after some wear.

We’ve had KO2s on our 4Runner since 2018 and we’ve never had this problem, I guess we lucked out.

However, large off road/AT tires in general can be hard to balance.

Listen, I’ve had 3-4 four runners and always had to do road force balance to smooth out the tires. You only have to do it once. After that, use regular balance. If the tire ever has to come off the rim (fix a nail?) mark the Rim and tire with liquid paper. Put it back like it came off. It will fix your problem

2015. Happens a lot
Discount tire package, when it acts up, I bring it back in.

I just switched 2 tires out for Michelin but in the back.

It sucks that it happens and one reason I wont buy another one. Not sure if the tacoma does it too.

Anybody dealt with this on a 4Runner ?

Mine has been doing this shite. Chabills said the tires are scalloped due to worn shocks. Don’t believe them. But I think the rear is way out of alignment which is causing the issue for me.

BF Goodrich KO2s are almost five years old so I’m gonna let them finish going to shite then try to get a full alignment when I replace tires next time.
