I’ll pull a George Costanza and push old women so I can get out of the way when a roach starts flying.

I went into the garage last night with my sandals on. Open the door and turn on the light and a roach scurries under a very thin, heavy box leaning against the wall.
Naturally I lean the box upright to squish it. I see it’s little legs start to scurry but the other side already had it caught. I hear the crunch and squish and feel a little splash on my feet. Black juice sprayed out and hit my feet.

In my old apartment, I had geckos and spiders. I'm convinced they're the reason I didn't have roaches.
