I’m wondering if he had some type of training or is just instinctive. Having never been in military or law enforcement it had to be very tough to protect yourself like he did without just shooting randomly.

We had this debate yesterday, this board is full-on support of the murderer Rittenhouse so there is no changing their minds. Anyone on this website that condones murder, should be banned. How are the gun law loopholes so bad that a 17 year old doesn’t have to register a weapon or can use another weapon not registered to them, and they can murder multiple people? The circumstances doesn’t change the fact that he murdered 2 people and was trying to murder more but missed.
Research the situation before spouting off like this.

This is where we diverge. I'm not worried about what happens when he is attacked or fires his gun. I'm interested in why he was there to being with.
To put out dumpster fires and administer first aid to injured protestors or police. Whomever needed it.

Wish I had more than 1 upvote.
This is the key point in our Republic, and so many get lost in the weeds; we lose site of the most basic unalienable rights.

to drive 20-45 minutes or so away to a dangerous situation?
Since people want to keep bringing this irrelevant point up, did you know the two people he killed lived further away than Rittenhouse?

Since when are we "registering" firearms?

The poster I was responding too is an idiot.

Yeah I read that in the quoted part of your post so I didn't mean to direct that at you. My bad.

How old are you?
Do you honestly believe that when somebody attempts to murder or inflict life threatening injuries upon another, that the victim is not justified to respond with lethal force?

I’m good, I’ll step away from this argument with another win on my record against the trash that condones murder, thanks.
It usually helps if someone other than you declares victory.
When you are the only one doing so with glaring evidence to the contrary, it’s just a sad look.

Anyway...I'm just pissed that this kid was put in this situation in the first place, and I feel that the person or persons who armed him and put him in there should get some blowback.
are you pissed at the thousands of protest rioting and destorying businesses?
do you take issue with their parents?
Do you take issue with their organizing?
how about the DA that releases these turds after they set something on fire or threw objects at police?
where is your head?

I know this is a foreign concept to most of you, but it is possible to be pissed at all parties involved in something.
Not everything is a "pick a side" scenario.
Just because one group are a bunch of assholes, doesn't mean the others can't be assholes either.
