I think it’s too early to determine. I’ve also heard reports that gen z will be much more conservative too.

I have yet to ever get a straight answer to “how” is increasing ethnic diversity a net positive for any society in history. Especially for the sheer sake of diversity.

Yeah, this is the first snowflakey report I've seen of Gen Z. They've generally been polled as libertarian leaning.

I'm not surprised that a 13 would say that the government should do more to solve problems. Most of that generation is too young to have fully formed opinions on government and politics.

That’s a good point. Otherwise in a few generations the world might as well end.
I always wonder where these “progressive” people are in the real world. I feel like I live in a bubble. I fall into the millenial category and am I shocked even by those figures.

Here’s something I don’t get
How are the children of parents who gave republicans huge margins in the 80s so liberal?
Aren’t parents generally the biggest influence on children’s political beliefs?
Parents take part in Reagan revolution, their kids turn around and act exactly the opposite
Same thing applies to the parents of Reagan voters
Gave fdr and Johnson huge margins, kids turn around and vote Reagan and gop and Nixon hugely

A 13 year old has everything given to them by their family, so it's only natural that they'd lean towards handouts if surveyed.

I dunno, but conservatives have hurt themselves immeasurably by fighting common sense things like pot legalization. Makes conservatives look like real out of touch assholes

It's Democratic socialism. The government isn't going to stick a gun in your face and confiscate most of your wealth. We are going to vote for them to do it legally.
