Sorry to hear this, had the chance to play golf with him in Arizona and really enjoyed it. He moved away from acting and was dedicated to running a business, I think it was some sort of gas/convenience store chain with well over 1,000 stores.

As if people of Wayne Rogers's stature don't die almost every day.

That's correct. BJ Honeycutt always felt like a manufactured character, not genuine, too forced, never funny.
