He was funny as hell when he guest starred on "The Big Bang Theory" and he and Sheldon hung out all night long talking "Star Wars" and lots of other nerdy things while taking in the town eating, drinking, steam room, etc.

Loved that speech in "Field of Dreams". He made everything he said feel like it came from the heart and had profound meaning.

Man, I kinda felt like he was on borrowed time. Sucks. RIP to a legend.

My favorite line of his is from Field of Dreams when he says "I'm gonna beat you with this crowbar until it makes you go away"

PEACE! LOVE! DOPE!

not sure I ever saw a movie or role of his I didn't like.

obviously Vader, Sandlot and Lion King stand out, but I really liked him in the Jack Ryan movies.

Grandma, this is dumb. Never just in threes. From July 1, 2024 to July 19, 2024 the following died: Monte Kiffin, Shelley Duvall, Dr. Ruth, James Sikking, Richard Simmons, Shannon Doherty, Jacoby Jones, Bob Newhart, Lou Dobbs, and Shelia Jackson Lee.

Phil Donohue died in August and no commonly famous people died around the same time. Maybe Chi Chi Rodriguez.

Bummer that he never let us know what was out there in the corn field. Every time someone I know passes away it is one of my first thoughts —— damn they know what is on the other side
