Average male lifespan in the USA is 76 so 59 is not that far off. He was a fat slob no doubt and it probably played some part but it's not like it had a dramatic effect for him to make it to 59. There have been deaths of pro athletes this year younger than him. I just think that 45'ish and under is a short life. 59...not as much.
BTW, your post is a myth. Humans don't live longer than they did 200 years ago. They just live longer on average and a lot of that has to do with wiping out infant deaths.
quote:
the increase in life expectancy between 1907 and 2007 was largely due to a decreasing infant mortality rate, which was 9.99 percent in 1907; 2.63 percent in 1957; and 0.68 percent in 2007.
But the inclusion of infant mortality rates in calculating life expectancy creates the mistaken impression that earlier generations died at a young age; Americans were not dying en masse at the age of 46 in 1907. The fact is that the maximum human lifespan — a concept often confused with "life expectancy" — has remained more or less the same for thousands of years. The idea that our ancestors routinely died young (say, at age 40) has no basis in scientific fact.

I'd say it's pretty far off, he barely made 3/4 of an average lifespan.

I think Steve O has been sober for a couple years now, makes sense he looks better than Bam... who's gotta be off the wagon.

Bam has been in really bad shape as of late

Viva la Bam was a money grab. If you want some good entertainment, look up the CKY videos. Young bam and Dunn were fricking hysterical together.

I remember 14 year old me was so excited for Viva La Bam because I thought it was going to be CKY - the TV show. I felt the 1st season wasn't too far off, but got worse as the season's progressed.
Still enjoyed the show though.

Eminem is smart guy with some talent. Bam is a douchebag who lucked into a semi-successful schtick.
