I'm surprised that Howard renewed his contract. With Robin's illness and show-related deaths, he has to realize that he's getting up there in years and maybe it's time to sit back and enjoy his wealth. Adam Carolla could step right in.
He's getting nearly $100 million a year to work 4 hours a day, 3 days a week and has to work maybe 30 weeks. I promise you he laughs his arse off, and only wants you to believe he is so miserable

He works what, three days 36 weeks a year? I think he is sitting back and enjoying his wealth.

I guess we were suppose to laugh?

Damn! They better start recruiting.

How Erik and Jeff are still alive, I have no idea. Hopefully, Erik keeps up with the weight loss so he can make it to the end of the five years.
No way Jeff makes it another five.
I'm shocked High Pitch made it longer than Hank. The guy has to have been on top of the Wack Pack death pool for a good decade every year, but he somehow keeps pressing on.

For every dead wack packer we get 5 more minutes of mean spirited and unfunny prank calls.
Sal has been a real anchor on that show.
Sal and Richard have been the only improvement on the show since going to Sirius. Their personal antics off the show are hilarious. Maybe not quite as good as KC, but they've made up for him. Really wish they still had KC on the show, but I can understand firing him since it was inevitable he would snap, especially when Richard joined the show.

Howard has tried for well over a decade to have Adam come work for him, but he's always refused. He was the second choice after Kimmel and before Artie to get the Jackie chair when Jackie quit.
Adam's relationship to Howard is like Norm's relationship to Letterman (although they are better real life friends than Norm and Letterman are). Howard clearly wants to groom him as his successor, but Adam despises any authority whatsoever and won't apologize for shite. It's something Howard respects about Adam, but I know frustrates him that he can't control him.
Plus Adam would have to move to New York to do the program, and I don't think Adam is willing at all to do that. He's got too much going on in LA.

There should be another Wack Pack competition to find another member. I believe the last time they did it was when they found Bigfoot.
Artie's laugh from that show is pure gold.

Why? There's nothing saying the show has to be broadcasted from N.Y. L.A. is a great place to have the show from and you get the celebrities as well as N.Y.

Problem is personal problems. I don't think Adam is going to want to wake up at 2:00 in the morning and will have a hard time getting staff to do the same. Might could get him to do it if he starts at at 6:00 Pacific Time, but there's no way Sirius would agree to this and destroy their East Coast Market. They'd want him in New York to do the program.

How do you know all this?

Hillbilly Jack. He was great but he just died a few months ago in a fire.

Anthony Cumia is already in NYC...and he does a better, funnier Howard than Howard does.

Carolla has basically said it multiple times.
