My captain.
As a long-time member of Endymion I would like to express my condolences to Peggy and his family.
A statue of Ed was unveiled last week on the Delgado campus at the intersection that is the official start of the Endymion parade. It is too bad Ed was not able to enjoy the ceremony.

Hail Endymion and Hail Captain Ed.

New Orleans is a war zone so I guess it makes sense to give float riders military ranks.

I had no idea Ed Muniz was such a polarizing and reviled figure. But I'm not a member of Endymion and have never lived in Kennah, brah.

New Orleans is a sinking ship so I guess it makes sense to call float riders captains.

True Story... in the early ‘90s I cold called his office at the radio station on Causeway blvd He actually came out and spoke with me. I pitched a radio show idea geared towards Fantasy Football; he told me that’s not a thing and told me to come back with a better idea. This is when he owned 990 am and I think 105.3 fm

Good. NOLA was running out of statues to tear due to combat white supremacy.

I got yelled at numerous times for hitting golf balls into his back yard by him.

Thats all I got, besides rolling on an Endymion float for 5 years.
