When everything blows over the looters will go home, Jessie Jackson along with BLM will be gone never to come back to help the community, and this will be forgotten. It happened in L.A., St Louis, and other cities.
Guess who will pay to repair the public building they destroyed and it will not be the rioters.

While most of the community that did not do the damage suffers with empty buildings, higher taxes to fix the damage caused by this, less jobs in the area, and having to travel further to shop or get services.

Just read through bathe reddit post. Apparently some guy got caught in the fire and died last night while looting the liquor store.

At least he died the way he wanted to go out. Burning alive trying to steal the good liquor.

You play in a building of flammable liquids that’s on fire, you’ll probably get burned

Some people on the live feed said it might of been the owner hiding in there after his store was overrun

That was one theory but I think a lot of other people said they saw the guy who was part of the riots running down there to get more.

I wonder if asphyxiation or heat would kill you first?

Have to imagine all the oxygen gets sucked out to feed the flames... but it would also be like getting stuck in a cajun microwave.

Either way, terrible way to go.

I can’t believe the number of people applauding the wanton destruction of a community.

This is people that have no concept of reality. In line with that it absolutely astounds me right now on social media how many people (both black & white) that are putting the most absurd statements out there like "I see who all is quiet right now, and it speaks volumes" as if you cannot make the same comment to them like "I see who is loud right now, but y'all were all quiet last week when the black man stabbed the old white woman". I just do not get how people can be so stupid and blind, just to jump on what's cool and the hot topic.
People feel the need to pick a side from one event, then blindly stay on that same side in the next "similar" event without diagnosing the facts.
Acting like Arberry and Floyd instances are the same, they are completely not. Aurberry's instance was far more nuanced and while the father & son pursued with weapons he still was not really innocent in that, he didn't deserve to die but still he put himself in that position. Floyd case is pretty damn simple, he was arrested, cool, detained & cuffed, cool, that should be the end of the story but the cop was a POS and killed him. Nobody trying to take up for that cop. A spade is a spade. You can take up for a cop in one instance and the victim in the other depending on the facts, that's the way it should be.

Now you have Kap tweeting "When civility leads to death, revolting is the only logical reaction. The cries for peace will rain down and land on deaf ears because your violence has brought this resistance. We have the right to fight back". I can respect Kap for speaking out when he did, even though I didn't agree with his kneeling down during the anthem because I think it disrespects the flag and the troops (my right to think that, just like it's others rights to not think it means that) and him calling cops pigs and wearing pig socks, to me those things took away from he wanted his message to be and put the attention on himself. But now there is a powerful image out with the side by side pics of him kneeling and the cop kneeling on Floyd, I don't care what side you are on any of these "race cop" cases that image with this current situation makes you think about it for a second. He could use that image right now to do some real good, but instead he chooses to incite violence in the midst of riots and looting that has killed more people than this POS cop has. That just shows just because you have millions of dollars and are an athlete/celebrity does not make you smart, that is immature on his part.

Sorry for the long post. But each incident needs to be looked at individually, not as a whole.

I hope all those businesses just abandon these burnt buildings and let them rot.

Yet here you are almost defending it. Labeling every protestor as a thug or a jack arse.

This is where your sense of logic fails you.

Protesting =\= Rioting.

Hundreds of people Stealing TVs, burning down AutoZones, and tearing up Police Precincts is not protesting. Stop trying to defend that. There is a dramatic difference.

So yes. Everyone involved is a piece of shite and deserves a bullet. And you’re trash for defending them.
