Bruce’s schtick to get around directly calling out someone for use is to say “I don’t know if he used it but I think he liked the smell of it.”

Seriously, pro wrestlers are a different breed. They are egomaniacs and I think some of them get caught up in the character they create and to some degree they become that.
And I am sure when they retire its hard for them to just go back to being them and some might go the rest of their life trying to chase their alter ego. I think that's what happened to Macho Man Randy Savage.
