Very few videos I have seen on the Internet hurt me. This one did. Laying in the blood with his eyes wide open, trying to gasp for breath. A 77-year old black man who survived his entire life as a cop, only to die on the sidewalk so some assholes could take some tv’s.

And not a peep on any of the MSM or local news coverage. Easily as heinous as the video that the media is blaming for the current domestic terrorism, but NOT A WORD. Disgusting.

None of this is about black lives, it is marxist insurrection. We need to call it what it is.

SO, the protesters cannot keep bad people out of their protests like the cops have a hard time in keeping bad people from getting on the police force.

That video was terrible to watch. That man did not deserve that.

Tariq Nasheed’s followers told me it’s a shame he died but he was a necessary casualty in the war against white supremacy

The video is awful. Guy is lying on the sidewalk gaspin for air and the dumbass filming never bothers to stop filming to call 911

Stay wit me cuzzz stay wit me cuzzzz
Rest In Peace cuzzzz (he was still alive and moving)
The last thing going through his mind was call 911 you dumb frick.

*This is going to my long rant. Feel free to skip.*
I just tried to have a conversation with an old black friend of mine and he is completely uninterested.
He actually use to be my best friend before we ended up moving separate ways in life (different states, relationships, etc.)
He is a huge Christian. I say this to give background on him. Like he is very outspoken on it.
He is asking how can people be outraged at looting and riots, but not the loss of a black life..
So I try to tell him that I can't think of a single person who isn't outraged over the loss of life. I also said why can't people be outraged at both?
His response,
To me that sounds like he is then condoning everything going on. I try to show him actual data and such, but again he is completely uninterested.
So he goes on to say,
But yet the rioting and looting he thinks is necessary for change is costing more innocent lives, including this black man here.. so his response is this..
So then I wonder if we can passionately proclaim that we need to transform the culture in law enforcement, what about the need to also discuss transforming the culture in high crime neighborhoods?
And then what's to say another problem doesn't arise. Is violent protesting really the answer?
My whole point is that people like him really don't seem to care about the loss of lives, including other innocent black lives. I don't understand how he isn't just as enraged at this.
I don't know that we can ever see eye to eye here and it's pointless to even try to have a discussion.
I am about ready to give up on any hope here.

His response,
quote:
"Because if our collective time and energy aren't focused on stopping police from subjecting Black folks to wrongful convictions, arrests and murders then riots and looting won't stop. If we can force systematic change through things that may be uncomfortable like riots and looting, then they stop when the unfair treatment stops. Riots and looting are only a symptom of a bigger issue. When you have a cold, wiping your nose doesn't make the cold go away."

if you solve the problem of the American justice system and unfair treatment of African-Americans, you solve the problem of riots in this regard.

Not true according to this tweet:
Don't get upset at the guy filming it. He called 911 before rolling and spent the rest of the 13 minutes (that's how long the video is) fending other looters off from the store.

People are claiming he did in fact call 911 first. He then started filming.
It would have been nice for him to try CPR, but obviously he is not trained. He seems to be young, but IDK. I would have liked him to maybe hold his hand or be slightly more comforting. However, he seemed like he was trying the best he knew how.. I am not going to bash him, because at least he stood around and was also getting onto all the other people around him. In a way, I commend him for that.

Compare blacks dying to cops to contraction of HIV.
Gays don't get HIV because theyre gay, they get it because they practice activities with risk. You don't necessarily get HIV the first time you share a needle or have sex with someone who has HIV, but a build up of those activities overtime increases your risk.
It's all about mitigation of exposure to risk. Almost every notable case of a black person who died to cops in the last 20 years had multiple encounters and arrests; they had a history of multiple activities of risk.
I have a personal goal to interact with people with badges as little as possible over the course of my life. As a result, I partake in activities that could cause exposure to that risk as little as possible.
He won't like to hear it or make up some bullshite about blacks being more likely to be arrested, but they also commit proportionally more of the crime.
Unarmed whites are also killed by police

.
The vast majority of blacks killed are killed by other blacks and they are responsible for many of the abortions in this country.
Blacks killed by whites arent "more dead" than the blacks killed by blacks.

I have not watched. I’m already pissed off at these people who just don’t give a shite about anything and are destroying and stealing shite just because they are thugs.... but just reading this thread makes me want to puke.
