I know having the college experience has been a big deal, but go two years at a community college for dirt cheap. Or do the pre reqs online and finish at a 4 year.

Some of these schools only require the last 30 hours or so be completed there for the degree.

Sure, if you actually had to pay that.

However, there are plenty of options to pay far less than that.

If you paid for it, it was a value for you of you wouldn't have.

frick the funeral industry in particular. I was 21 and grieving the death of one of my best friends and this motherfricker in charge of the cemetery had the nerve to try and make a sales pitch to me. He wanted me to buy my own headstone "just in case something happens, because look how hard it is on your friends family to have to wait for one to be made"

7 years later and that shite still boils my blood

I understand the timing was bad, but that's reasonable advice.

It's just not something you say to a 21 yr old a couple days after their best friend died, just because you want to make a quick $1500

And I promise his family wasn't thinking "oh no now we have to wait a couple months for our young sons headstone because he didn't have the foresight to buy a premade one when he was in college", their mind was on their son who they were never going to see again

Y’all complaining about weddings. Try being an Indian when your wedding is a 4 day event, and your liquor bill is 6 figures.

Ehh, not really. That's reasonable advice for an 80 year old, not a 21 year old.

I don’t think this is like the others. This is a good, and it’s something people will pay for even if used. Hell, a lot of the ring companies will buy them back from you for the price in which you paid.

Wut. That appraisal price is a made up number. You'll be lucky to get 33% of what you paid for it

Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren tried that and it didn’t work out well, so I’m good.
